Young Friends Committee
We endeavor to guide the children of the Meeting in their spiritual understanding as we convey Quaker beliefs and practices.
- Ensure that there are two adults each first day to facilitate the lesson/activity
- Request and encourage Meeting members and attenders to co-lead children's first day school lessons/activities
- Develop and implement curriculum that corresponds to the age range of participating children/youth
- Explore opportunities to expand and build the community of our children to include the Friends School and local neighborhoods
- Present Bibles to children of the Meeting (currently using the Jonathan Barclay Fund to purchase Bibles)
